I wanted to try some images of the sea over rocks so went to my local beach at high tide. I took two X-ray negatives and some paper negatives. It ended up being a bit of a rescue mission as I had forgotten to reset my light meter from my last session so all readings were over exposing by nearly 3 stops!

Next time .....

However I did make some atmospheric images from both types of negative.

The camera used was the Thornton Pickard Imperial from 1890. This is a full-plate camera making negatives 6.5x8.5 inches

I returned - on a windy morning and had much more success 'tho the tide was lower.
